Ager in der Region Katalonien in der Provinz Lleida, bekanntes Fluggebiet am Südrand der Pyrenäen. Was für manche nur eine riesige Felskante sein mag, ist eines der schönsten Fluggebiete der Welt. Ager, die Kante, hoch über dem Stausee Panta de Canelle im Montsec Gebirge. Das Startgelände Coll d`Ares auf 1586 Meter über Meer sehr großzügig und das Fliegen über den Stauseen Cellers im Osten und Camelles im Westen war sehr interessant. Nach schönen Rundflug vor der Landung ein Blick auf Ager mit den alten Stadtmauern, typischen Strassen und schöner Stiftskirche. The Coll d'Ares launch site at 1586 meters above sea very generous and flying over the lakes to the east Cellers and to the west Camelle was very interesting. After a nice scenic flight before landing a look at Ager with old city walls, typical streets and beautiful church.

Piedrahita, ein idyllisches Dorf in Kastilien, wunderschön in den Bergen gelegen. Der Startplatz Pena Negra auf 1900 Meter über Meer ist auf einer Bergflanke die weit nach Ost in die Hochebene Meseta reicht. Spanien wie es leibt und lebt: Blauer Himmel, Temperaturen auch im Herbst noch um 30 Grad und Fliegen bei guter Thermik hoch über sprödes, stolzes Stück Land mit zum Teil noch sehr armen, fahlbraunen Dörfern bis über das 60 Kilometer entfernte Avila und wieder zurück. Dann gut gelandet aber müde wieder in der Hitze von Pedrahita. Piedrahita, an idyllic village in Castile, beautifully situated in the mountains.
