2012 Nepal
A new challenge, now let's go: Some 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, at the foot of Annapurna – massif the Himalayan rises abruptly from about 800 to over 8000 meters. The climate there is subtropical. Due to the altitude, the summers with temperatures of 30 degrees is not so hot, the winters are mild and frost – free. One of the last great adventures is: Near there to start with the hang glider and flying with good thermals in the Himalayas before the 8091 meter high mountain massif of Annapurna. This also in view of the 8167 meter high Dhaulagiri with its south wall, he is one of the finest and most distinctive eight thousand altogether. The landing then south into the vast plains of the Terai region on the edge of the jungle with his wild animals. Free flying on the roof of the world!
